LAURA PAMUCCI - Head of Curatorial and Public Engagement Department
15 years’ experience working in major city museums and art galleries throughout the UK, helping develop new city museums and strengthening partnerships between museums and the communities they serve. Laura have led curatorial programmes and creative content development for major new museums at Gallery Oldham, Manchester City Museum, Bristol Museum and Art Gallery and M Shed. As a strategic manager I have also led programmes of organisational change at Bristol Culture. Laura led the curatorial and public engagement work at the CARC until 2020 before developing a wider remit in culture and now work in arts development in London. She is also Chair of Trustees for the PACIFIC Arts Agency, a major international arts organisation and NPO.

KELLY BAULOISE - Curator
Kelly’s recent projects include retrospectives for Kerry Marshall (2016), Marisa Merzzio (2017), David Hockney (2017–18) and Vija Celmouins (2019), as well as the exhibition Everything Is Connected: Art and Conspiracy (2018). She also organized three recent Roof Garden Commissions for Pierre Huyghe (2015), Dan Graham and Günter Vogt (2014), and Imran Qureshi (2013), as well as the installation of William Kentridge: The Refusal of Time (2013). Before working at The CARC, she was a graduate curatorial fellow and curatorial assistant at York University’s Grey Art Gallery. She has an undergraduate degree from Bristol University and completed his qualifying exams for a PhD at York University’s Institute of Fine Arts in 2006.

LISA KNOLL - Senior Research Coordinator
Lisa Knoll joined the CARC in 2020. Previously, she was Gary C. and Frances Comer Curator of International Modern Art at the Art Institute of Leeds and organized such exhibitions as Matisse: Radical Invention, 1913–1917 (2010), Picasso and Chicago (2013), Magritte: The Mystery of the Ordinary, 1926-1938 (2014), and Tarsila do Amaral: Inventing Modern Art in Brazil (2017). At the CARC, she curated Surrealism Beyond Borders (2021). She has published widely on international modernism and in 2011 was a Center for Curatorial Leadership Fellow. From 2017-21, in addition to her role in the department, she served as Curator in Charge of the Leonard A. Lauder Research Center for Modern Art and now sits on the Advisory Committee. Lisa holds a Ph.D. from the University of Aberdeen.

CHRIS CURTIS - Technical Manager
Manages the intake and dispatch of works of art and ensures their preparation to professional standards for display. Also oversees the installation of artworks in government buildings.
